![]() ![]() It has in fact changed to, you guessed for the delayed reply.ġ. hdr file, I set a custom environment in a project and then tried to make that environment the app default. Going back to Preferences, I see that the default environment has now changed. but not to the custom environment. The default environment under Render in my main app Preferences was set to Photobooth. ![]() This issue seems to go deeper than just the web viewer, though. I have tried with multiple browsers, and a simple refresh is all it takes. It is not true that the web viewer is completely independent of the rendering settings in the desktop app- for instance, the setting which determines whether to show the background as a solid color or an Environment in the desktop app is respected when opening the file in the web viewer, despite the web viewer having such a toggle of its own.Īlso, contrary to the help document, the web viewer seems to want to revert to Sharp Highlights regardless of what the browser's cookie settings are. I find myself in exactly the same situation as the OP- Photobooth is my preferred environment, but the web viewer seems to have a particular affinity for "Sharp Highlights". Please reconsider as this seems to have the distinct markings of a bug. Model displayed as first opened in embedded Viewer Environment setting for intial view of object in Viewer Viewer Environment changed to Photo Booth F360 Render Environment Settings F360 Render Environment Settings showing Photobooth environment Ideally, I want the Viewer environment to display in the Photobooth setting I rendered the model in. I am trying to determine if there is a setting or step missed by me during the initial rendering that causes the default environment showing in the Viewer to be Sharp Highlights, is there something wrong with the Viewer or is there something else at play. I included photographs of the F360 render environment settings showing how the source model was rendered. I changed the environment to Photobooth in the Viewer Settings and included a picture of the results (much closer to the original rendering in F360). Sharp Highlights environment appears to be how the model is displayed. Embedded are photographs showing how a model displays in the Viewer upon initial open. ![]()
